Why is DealWall asking for my Google credentials?

I logged onto DealWall for the first time and it's accessing my Gmail account and asking to authenticate with Google. Why?

  Hmm... good question. Maybe you should check with A2O Support folks?

  You have to give your consent to DealWall to access your Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive.
  Dealwall searches your Gmail artefacts and associates them to their respective deals. It does not store your drive and email contents.
