Deal Team:
Once you create / import a deal, you can assemble a deal team to work on this deal. The deal team can comprise members from
- your own sales organization
- other departments and SMEs from your own organization
- from partners participating in this deal
- even from customers
Each deal team member is assigned a role specific to that persons involvement in the deal. This role determines what all information this person gets to see / modify in the deal. This helps maintain level of privacy in deal operations.
This helps you in collaborating on key aspects of the deal with respective members faster and getting things done faster.
Listing Deal Team:
To list the deal team :
- click on any deal tile
- the deal team pane shows up on the left
- you can sort them by name or company
- you can see their online status whether available, busy, offline from the color bar besides their profile picture.
- you can now collabortate / communicate with the deal team. For more details on communication / collaboration click here.
Adding Team Members:
You can add members to the deal team from your Personal Address Book (PAB) maintained within DealWall or you can add a new contact to the PAB and deal team at the same time.
To Add Members from PAB:
- Click on
icon in the Deal Team Pane
- select the
option
- it displays the contacts from PAB who are not in the deal team yet
- search or select the Contacts you want and click on
- the selected Contacts are added to the deal team,
- you can assign them sepecific role in the deal team using the
icon for the respective contact .
To Add New Contact:
- Click on
icon in the Deal Team Pane
- Select the
option
- The Add Contact form appears
- fill in the necessary details
- select the role for this contact
- click on
- the contact is added to PAB and also to the Deal Team.
- The new contact will get an invite which he / she may choose to register to use DealWall if not already done.
