Contacts:
When working in DealWall on various Deals you will be in constant collaboration with various contacts. These contacts may be for example -
- people in your own organisation
- people in the enterprises you are dealing with
- people in the partner accounts helping with the deal.
Using the menu in the navigation bar you can
- add new contacts
- import contacts from your personal address book on mobile devices
- list the contacts
- search contacts
- sort by name or the company they belong to
- set your own availability status
- view your contacts availability status
- Available: Displayed in green color. This is the default status.
- Busy: Displayed in red color.
- Idle: Displayed in yellow color.
- Offline: Displayed in grey color.
- initiate communications (email, meeting invite, chat, call) with your contacts
Listing Contacts:
To list the contacts
- click on
menu in the navigation bar
- the contact list appears
- you can sort the list using the column headers.
- to search for contact start typing their name in the search bar
- you can also search by company name
Adding Contacts:
To add contacts
- click on
menu in the navigation bar
- the contact list appears as shown above.
- click on
in the contact list
- the Add Contact form appears
- fill in necessary information
- you can select the company this contact belongs to or add a new company if not found in the list
- DealWall will send an email invite to the new contact
- the recipient can choose to click on the invitation link in the email to register in DealWall and start using it.
- it is not mandatory for the contact to register in DealWall
- click on Save
- the contacts list is refreshed to show the newly added contact.
Communicating with Contacts:
The communication bar helps you to communicate with the selected contact or contacts from your contact list. You can communicate via
- e-mail,
- meeting request,
- task,
- chat,
- phone call (on mobile devices)
- skype (if skype id of both parties is available and skype is available on the device)
- facetime (on iOS devices)
You can also
- filter communications based on the selected contact
- edit the selected contact.
To Send Email / Meeting Invite / Chat / Assign Tasks:
- click on
menu in the navigation bar
- the contact list appears as shown
- select the contact(s) you want to communicate with
- the communication bar appears
- select the appropriate option from the communication bar
- the appropriate form appears to complete the action

To Edit Contact
- click on
menu in the navigation bar
- the contact list appears as shown above.
- select the contact you want to edit
- the Edit Contact form appears
- make the necessary changes, click on Save
